Two more people have died locally at Butler Memorial Hospital this week as a result of serious COVID-19 symptoms.
The hospital reported two COVID-related deaths to the state on Wednesday.
According to the Butler Health System, as of Thursday morning 28 patients were hospitalized with COVID at Butler Memorial Hospital with one of those in the ICU.
This is 12 fewer COVID patients hospitalized and two fewer COVID patients in the ICU compared to Monday. This is also the lowest number of locally hospitalized COVID patients since early September.
