Loretta Lynn will release a new album next year, her first since 2004’s Van Lear Rose. The 13-song project is called Full Circle, and it will be out on March 4th.
Rolling Stone reports that Full Circle includes newer versions of past hits like “Fist City” as well as the first song Loretta ever wrote, which was originally released in 1960 as the B-side to “I’m a Honky Tonk Girl.”
The “coal miner’s daughter” recorded Full Circle in the Cash Cabin Studio, which Johnny Cash built on his property in the late 70s. Johnny and June Carter Cash‘s son, John Carter Cash, co-produced the album with Loretta’s daughter, Patsy Lynn Russell.
Full Circle features guest appearances by Willie Nelson and Elvis Costello.
