A longtime Keystone State political expert is weighing in on the Pennsylvania Senate race.
Dr. Terry Madonna is with Millersville University and he is expecting the intensity of the race between Democrat John Fetterman and Republican Dr. Mehmet Oz to pick up soon, with more advertising and coverage.
“Make no mistake about it, this election is going to be one of the most expensive Senate races in the country,” Madonna said. “Number two, it’s going to be one of the most watched and observed political races in the country.”
Polls right now are showing Fetterman with a double digit lead over Dr. Oz.
Madonna also adds that this race has a different feel then previous senate races in Pennsylvania.
“I have never seen a major race in our state with two more, and here’s how I describe it, unique personalities,” Madonna said.
Madonna also said he expects millions of dollars to pour in from political action groups in the race as well.
