A longtime fixture in the Butler agricultural industry has died.
Lou Heasley passed away late last week at his home.
Heasley was the longtime owner and president of Heasley Nurseries in Summit Township.
He was also heavily involved with groups like the PA Nursey Association and Butler County Farm Bureau. Heasley also served as a Summit Township supervisor.
Heasley was 89.
