It took emergency crews about a half hour to reach an individual with a medical emergency in the woods in Cherry Township Thursday morning.
According to reports, an individual working in a logging area off Grupp Road had some type of medical emergency. Crews were able to reach the individual and rescue him around 9:30am. The man was deep in the woods and it took crews some time to get to him.
West Sunbury, Slippery Rock, and Marion Township all assisted at the scene.
