Joey Logano advanced into the Chase round of eight with a dominating victory at Talladega Superspeedway Sunday afternoon. Logano led the final 45 laps for his sixteenth career victory. He joins Jimmie Johnson, Kevin Harvick, Matt Kenseth, Carl Edwards, Kurt and Kyle Busch in advancing into the next round of the Chase format. Denny Hamlin used third place finish to eliminate Austin Dillon from the Chase. Martin Truex, Jr., Brad Keselowski and Chase Elliott were also eliminated.
