A local woman was seriously injured after a drunk driver hit her car Saturday night in Oakland Township.
According to the Butler State Police, a 31-year-old East Butler man was traveling on Chicora Road around 10:20pm Saturday when he crossed the center line and struck a vehicle driven by a 31-year-old Butler woman.
Authorities say that the woman suffered serious injuries, and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. During their investigation, authorities determined that the East Butler man was driving while under the influence of alcohol.
It is unclear what charges will be filed in the case.
