The local chapter of the Twilight Wish organization granted a ‘Thanksgiving’ wish to a Butler County senior citizen earlier this week and now they’re looking ahead to a ‘Christmas’ wish.
Jean Bowen with Twilight Wish encourages anyone interested in donating items- including puzzle books, candy bars, toilet paper and Kleenex- to do so. Donations will be accepted through Wednesday, Nov. 30 at various locations (including Family Bowlaway, Sunnyview, Shelbourne and Grace at Calvary Church).
Twilight Wish is a group made up of various community members. The chapter has been around for four years and would like to get to a point where they’re donating one wish to a local senior every month.
Wishes range from quality-of-life needs to the fulfillment of a lifelong dream.
