A Butler County Community College professor is in the running for an international teaching award.
Sherri Mack is the associate professor of business at BC3 and was awarded last month with a ‘Teaching Excellence Award’ for Region 2, which encompasses teachers in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and D.C.
Mack will now head to California in June and is one of five finalists up for an International Teaching Excellence Award.
Mack is a resident of Butler and has taught at BC3 for 22 years.
