The Butler County Symphony Orchestra has received a grant from a state agency.
The Pennsylvania Council on the Arts awarded over $3,000 to the symphony to be used for general operating expenses.
The Butler County Symphony has been performing since 1950 and relies on generous donors, foundations, and state agencies provide music and culture to the area.
