Two local teens are among those chosen to participate in a tour of the nation’s capital.
Emmanuel McLean of Moniteau High School and Rebecca Pennington of Karns City High School were selected to join other area young people on the annual Central Electric Cooperative Youth Tour trip to Washington, D.C. This year’s tour is scheduled for June 9th through 16th.
The Youth Tour experience includes visiting memorials as well as touring museums and national landmarks like the National Archives and the Library of Congress.
