Several local student musicians are preparing for a performance later this week.
The Butler Senior High School Music Department is presenting a free concert of solos and choral selections this Tuesday beginning at 7 p.m. in the Senior High Auditorium.
13 singers and instrumentalists will present solo pieces after auditioning before a panel of three judges to earn a spot.
The Concert Choir will also sing two songs as a preview of their concert next month.
