An event Saturday will help local drivers replace hard-to-read license plates.
State Representative Marci Mustello and the Saxonburg Police Department are holding the event from 10 a.m. to noon at the Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company, First Responders Park.
Officials will have the application available that allows for a free license plate replacement. Drivers should bring an unexpired PA driver’s license and current vehicle registration card. Specialty plates are not eligible for replacement at this event.
A plate is considered illegal if one or more of its letters or numbers can’t be read from 50 feet away.
No registration is required for the event.Ki
