Some local students will be collecting money while learning about heart health beginning this week.
Mars Area Centennial School, Elementary School, and Primary Center will be holding a Healthy Heart fundraiser starting Tuesday and continuing through Friday, March 4th.
A representative of the American Heart Association will attend a Kickoff Event scheduled for Tuesday and a week from Tuesday a Kids of Steel Assembly is planned with a representative from the Pittsburgh Kids Marathon.
This fundraiser will benefit the American Heart Association through the Kids Heart Challenge App on online through the Heart Association’s Heart Challenge website.
