The Professional Golfers’ Association of America (PGA) is recognizing two local professional golfers.
Jody Barrett was named 2017 Teacher of the Year by the association’s Tri-State Section for his work leading the instructional programs offered at the award winning Cranberry Highlands golf course. Barrett has been a golf professional for 24 years with ten of those spent at Cranberry Highlands.
Shawn McCall was named Apprentice Player of the Year by the Tri-State PGA at their annual meeting. This award was based on point accumulated over the year by outplaying other apprentices in the section. McCall has worked at Cranberry Highlands as Assistant Pro since 2010.
