A local pre-school has a new name but will still operate in the same location and offer the same programming.
The YWCA Montessori Preschool is now called the Monarch Montessori Preschool under the management of Family Pathways.
YWCA Butler operated the local Montessori program for over 35 years but is moving forward with a focus on the mission of empowering women and eliminating racism.
This program has operated in Monarch Place for over 10 years and will remain there while continuing to offer two, three and five-day programs for kids ages 3 to 5 years old. Enrollment is now open for the 2019-20 school year.
