A few local parks will be receiving grant money for renovations.
The Marion Township park will be undergoing $70,000 worth of renovations—including a new bathroom and creating ADA access.
In Summit Township, they will be removing the current playground and replacing it with a new unit.
And the Harrisville Borough will create a trail that will be a continuous loop around the park connecting a new restroom, the pavilions, skate park, and athletic fields.
All projects are being funded through DCNR grants and local matches.
