A local organization has chosen a new group of residents to take on positions of leadership.
Republican Women of Butler County recently swore in several newly elected officers at a meeting held at the Cranberry Township Municipal Building.
Mars resident Dayle Ferguson will lead the organization as President after serving in a similar role with the Mars Area School Board. Other officers engaged at this meeting include Jill Schulties as Vice-President and Jaime Gannon as Treasurer.
Republican Women of Butler County was founded in 2004 as a grassroots political organization that meets monthly and participates in community events to advance conservative policies and candidates.
