Another step in the possible sale of the Butler Area Sewer Authority is planned for this week as Butler Township Commissioners will vote on a confidentiality agreement with Pennsylvania American Water.
This vote is scheduled to take place at the Butler Township meeting scheduled for Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the Municipal Building.
If approved by both Township Commissioners and Butler City Council, the agreement will then go back to the authority for a 60 day review.
The exact parameters of the agreement as well as timeline on a possible sale will be discussed and the public is welcome to attend.
