Cranberry Township is continuing to pursue grant funding to help with traffic light improvements.
The board of supervisors gave their approval to seek another “Green Light Go” grant from the state.
The funding program requires a 20 percent local match. But, officials say the improvements would be seen over the next three years.
Supervisors say major corridors would receive the updates:
- Route 19 and Route 228/Freedom Road
- Freedom Road and Connector Street
- Route 228/Interstate 79 North and Southbound Off Ramps
- Route 228/Cranberry Woods.
