A Karns City man is recovering from significant injuries after being thrown from his motorcycle Friday night in Fairview Township.
The Butler State Police say that around 9:20pm Friday night, 30-year-old Richard Collier was speeding on Kittanning Pike when he lost control of his bike at the intersection with Fairmont Road.
Collier was then thrown from the bike, and landed back on the roadway.
Officials say that Collier was then flown to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh with major injuries.
No charges will be filed.
