A 19-year-old man is recovering from his injuries after crashing his truck yesterday on Rt. 85 in Cowanshannock Township, Armstrong County.
The Kittanning State Police say that around 7:30am yesterday, Nicholas Trudgen of Nu Mine was westbound on Rt. 85 when he lost control of his pickup and crashed into several wooden posts in front of New Hope Church.
After hitting the posts, Trudgen’s truck then went into a ditch. First responders had to tow the truck from the scene.
Authorities say that Trudgen suffered minor injuries, and was taken to Armstrong County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Trudgen faces charges of Roadways Laned for Traffic, Restraint Systems, Inspection violation, and Unauthorized Transfer or Use of Registration.
