A standoff between police and a Butler County man in his 70s has reportedly ended after the man was shot.
According to our news partners at WPXI-TV, a State Police Trooper shot the unidentified man just before 5 p.m. when he allegedly walked outside of his home with a gun which he pointed at an officer.
The man was flown to an area hospital and his condition is unknown at this time. The man reportedly barricaded himself inside the Nursery Road house in Renfrew Tuesday afternoon.
There was not believed to be anyone inside the house with the man. The cause of the standoff is unknown at this time.
