A Butler man is facing charges after a dispute became heated late last week in Summit Township.
According to State Police, authorities were called to a dispute between neighbors on Bonniebrook Road just before 2pm on Friday. While responding, authorities were notified that a weapon was possibly involved.
Upon arrival, officials say that 44-year-old Joshua Campbell refused to comply with police commands, and told authorities that he had a firearm. Authorities say that Campbell eventually pulled a rifle out of his house and pointed it at police.
Campbell was later taken into custody and placed in the Butler County Prison. He faces charges of Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, and Terroristic Threats.
