A Summit Township man is accused of shooting and killing his neighbor’s cat for defecating on his property.
Pennsylvania State Police charged 22-year-old Jacob Palatinas with animal cruelty charges following the alleged incident on Sunday.
Palatinas allegedly told the cat’s owner that he shot the animal because the pet continually defecated on his property.
Palatinas told police a different story; stating he shot the animal but he thought it was a groundhog.
