A wide range of speakers were invited on stage during the campaign rally for former President Trump.
Included in that mix were many local leaders and politicians.
“To those of you who are guests, you will see why we get on our knees and thank God for the opportunity to live in Butler County,” Republican County Commissioner Leslie Osche said. “A shining example of all that is good about the United States of America, the land of the free and home of the brave.’
Fellow county commissioner Kim Geyer also spoke to the crowd.
“No longer will Butler County be remembered by an assassin’s bullet. Instead, we will solidify our legacy in history as the little town with a big heart that is working to heal, unified with purpose, and is motivated to save this country,” Geyer said.
Butler Township Commissioner Sam Zurzolo also had a chance to speak to the audience.
“Our president will be proud when he sees this crowd out here. I didn’t know this many people could fit in the Farm Show Grounds,” Zurzolo said.
Slippery Rock Mayor JD Longo, Butler County Sheriff Mike Slupe, and Butler Memorial Hospital nurse Sally Sherry were also among other local Butler County residents who had a chance to address the crowd.
