A local relief effort to help those impacted by Hurricane Helene is making a final push for donations.
The donation drive is being organized by Tyler Kotch, a Butler alum who lives in Asheville, North Carolina. Since the hurricane, Kotch’s family has been collecting donations in Butler to take to those impacted by the disaster.
They are expecting to deliver the items this week, but stress they are in need of items like cleaning supplies, infant diapers, formula, hygiene items and water.
Donations can be dropped off at Kotch Insurance, which is at the corner of Route 68 and South Duffy.
