A local group has received a large grant to help fund youth programs.
The Butler City Hunting and Fishing Club’s Youth League recently applied for and was awarded a grant through Friends of the NRA.
A total of $1,900 will be used to continue and grow youth programs like trap shooting and air rifle.
The Butler City Hunting and Fishing Club is based in East Butler and more information can be found on organization’s website.
