There is still time to register for Hunter and Trapper Education courses around the Butler County area.
The first of these classes will be held this Monday and Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. both nights at the Butler Township Recreation Building. Additional classes will be held August 27th at the Valley Dam Sportsman Snowmobile Association, September 10th at the American Legion Post in Zelienople, September 17th at the Butler City Hunting and Fishing Club, and September 27th and 28th at the Moraine Sportsman’s Club.
These free classes will be taught by Pennsylvania Game Commission instructors.
All first time hunters seeking to purchase a hunting license must successfully complete a hunter education course.
