A bit of Butler history takes center stage for a presentation tonight at Alameda Park.
Bill May is presenting “The Biddle Boys: Escape, Capture, and Death of Butler County’s Most Notorious Outlaws” at 6:30 p.m. at the Park’s Carousel Shelter.
The Biddle brothers, along with the wife of a warden who helped them escape, got into a shootout with police in Butler on their way from Pittsburgh to Canada in 1902.
The Butler County Parks and Recreation sponsored event is free and expected to last an hour.
