Mars Area High School will be making a series of presentations to students to put a spotlight on the regional drug crisis.
Opioid Awareness presentations will be held for a half hour each morning this week with seniors on Monday, juniors on Tuesday, sophomores on Wednesday, and freshmen on Friday.
The presentations will discuss the ongoing epidemic as well as the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse and peer pressure.
Students will also watch a video with real-life stories from those affected by opioid addiction.
