A local group of volunteers are seeking donations to help the victims of the recent tornadoes in Kentucky.
The donation drive will be held starting today through Friday night. They are looking for non-perishable food items, toys, building supplies and gift cards.
Trucks and trailers will be set up at the RC Men’s Club in Herman and Snack n’ Pack in Butler.
Lucinda Dunlap is organizing the trip to Kentucky after seeing the devastation in the area.
“I just saw the impact of what was shown on the news and just the devastation so close to the holidays, my gut was telling me I have to help out and do something with this,” Dunlap said.
A 36-foot trailer will be leaving Butler for Kentucky Friday night.
