A local group is giving back to the community through a recent donation.
The Butler County Democratic Committee donated nearly 1,000 pairs of new socks to Catholic Charities Diocese of Pittsburgh, Butler County Outreach.
The socks were donated by attendees of the annual gathering of rural Democrats in Western Pennsylvania called Demstock 2024 which was hosted this year by the Butler County Democratic Committee.
The Butler County Outreach of Catholic Charities was selected to receive this donation since they provide housing and shelter assistance to local at-risk residents. Socks are frequently requested by those in need.
