Butler Country Club pro Rob McClellan advanced in Thursday’s U.S. Open Local qualifier.
McClellan advanced to the U.S. Open Sectional qualifier June 6.
McClellan was the only local golfer to secure one of the five spots to the sectional.
There are two more local qualifiers: Monday at the Club at Nevillewood and Wednesday at Scotch Valley Country Club in Hollidaysburg
