Gasoline prices in our area remained steady in the last week.
According to AAA’s weekly fuel survey, prices in Butler for a gallon of regular, self-serve is averaging $3.14, down one cent from last week.
Across the area, Butler has some of the lowest prices. Places like Beaver, Brookville, Greensburg, Pittsburgh and Kittanning are averaging prices up to $3.24 per gallon.
AAA says for the first time in months, pump prices decreased or held steady on the week for motorists in every state in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions.
