The Butler Health System is congratulating a local doctor who recently received nationwide recognition.
Dr. Dillon Stein is one of six physicians across the country to be honored with a 2022 Hastings Center Cunniff-Dixon Award. Dr. Stein is the Director of Palliative Care at Butler Health System.
This award spotlights clinicians who provide outstanding care for patients nearing the end of life. It is based on a variety of factors such as technical competence, integrity, empathy, and compassion.
Dr. Stein is one of three physicians being recognized in the “early career” category. He credits the years of support he has received from family, community, his team, and the Butler Health System.
