Five more people have died locally at Butler Memorial Hospital over the weekend as a result of serious COVID-19 symptoms.
The hospital reported two COVID-related deaths to the state on Friday.
The hospital reported three more COVID-related deaths to the state on Sunday.
According to the Butler Health System, as of Monday morning 56 patients were hospitalized with COVID at Butler Memorial Hospital with six of those in the ICU.
This is eight fewer COVID patients hospitalized and one fewer COVID patient in the ICU compared to Thursday.
