Three more people have died locally at Butler Memorial Hospital over the weekend as a result of serious COVID-19 symptoms.
The hospital reported one COVID-related death to the state on Friday.
The hospital reported two more COVID-related deaths to the state on Sunday.
According to the Butler Health System, as of Monday morning 40 patients were hospitalized with COVID at Butler Memorial Hospital with three of those in the ICU.
This is the same number of COVID patients hospitalized and one more COVID patient in the ICU compared to Thursday.
