Local hospitalization rates connected to COVID-19 continue to decrease although three more people have died locally at Butler Memorial Hospital this week as a result of COVID-19 infection.
The Butler Health System reported two deaths to the state Department of Health on Monday.
One additional death was reported to the state on Tuesday.
According to the Butler Health System, as of Thursday morning 12 patients were hospitalized with COVID at Butler Memorial Hospital with three of those in the ICU.
This is one less COVID patient hospitalized and one fewer COVID patient in the ICU compared to Monday.
