Hospitalizations due to COVID have remained relatively high, but stable at Butler Memorial Hospital over the past couple of weeks.
According to an update this morning, the hospital was treating 51 patients for the coronavirus, with 10 in the ICU. However, four more deaths were reported by the hospital since Friday.
Statewide hospitalizations are also following that trend. As of this afternoon, more than 4,500 people were currently being treated for COVID in Pennsylvania hospitals; a number that has held steady for the last two weeks.
The statewide death toll due to COVID has now surpassed 35,000.
