The number of local COVID cases continue to climb.
According to the Department of Health, there were 422 new cases over the past seven days—which is up by nearly 100 cases compared to the last week.
We reported earlier this week that local hospitalizations also ticked up to 14 patients with two in the ICU at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Statewide hospitalizations went up to over 1,200 according to the Department of Health.
