A local business is the latest to join the hurricane relief efforts in North Carolina.
Tyler Kotch is the son of local insurance agent Rich Kotch. The Butler native owns and operates a pizza shop in Asheville. While his store was spared significant damage, he is stepping up efforts to help out his neighbors.
A collection drive is happening at Kotch Insurance on South Duffy all this week. They are looking for clothing, hygiene products, baby items, non-perishable food items, and more.
The truck leaves for Asheville on October 15th. Kotch is also running a GoFundMe account for the victims.
