The 2016 Little Miss Butler County and Junior Miss Butler County were named over the weekend.
Allison Kemling, 9, of Center Township took home the Little Miss crown. She performed a musical theater dance for the talent portion of the competition. She’s a student at the Butler Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Butler.
Emma Lee May Rivers, 13, of Saxonburg was crowned Junior Miss Butler County. She performed a contemporary jazz dance.
This was the 13th year for the pageants. Contestants were judged in areas including fitness, talent, presence & poise and through an on-stage question. The junior contestants also participated in an interview.
Butler Radio’s own Kayla Molczan was the emcee.
