When you stay at a hotel, you may be treated to the little bottles of shampoo and conditioner—but a new proposed law may make them a thing of the past.
State Senator Melissa Shusterman is proposing a bill that would get rid of single-use plastics in the hotel industry.
She says they add to the waste stream and are rarely recycled.
She encourages hotels to move to bulk dispensers for the toiletries; which she says some hotels have already made that decision.
