The Toronto Blue Jays won their American League Wild Card game 5-2 over the Baltimore Orioles last night. Edwin Encarnacion hit a three-run home run in the 11th inning to win the game. Former Pirate Francisco Liriano earned the victory when he replaced Toronto closer Roberto Osuna, who left the game with an injury.
The Blue Jays move on to Texas Thursday.
The New York Mets host the San Francisco Giants tonight in the National League Wild Card game beginning at 8:09pm.
