Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, which means schools and government offices are closed.
One place that won’t be closed today are state wine and spirits stores.
The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board says liquor stores will have operating hours today- as well as on Presidents Day, Memorial Day and the Fourth of July this year.
Previously, state law had prohibited stores from opening on holidays but Act 39 of 2016 removed the holiday restrictions.
