The construction of a new Lions Shelter in Alameda Park continues to move forward.
County Commissioners have approved a project to install a new sidewalk at the shelter that will lead directly to the pool and other nearby locations.
The project will cost just over $31,000 and is being funding through a state grant.
The Parks and Recreation Department will not be booking the Lions Shelter until the end of May, when they expect construction to be complete.
