Light snow fell overnight and forced PennDOT trucks to hit the streets.
Most main roads were clear early Friday.
Icy conditions were reported on the Buffalo Bridge on Route 28 in Buffalo Township near Freeport. Crews were sent to the bridge about 6 a.m. after a couple crashes occurred earlier in the morning.
We’ll get a break in the action during the day Friday with clouds and a high near 44. The snow will fire up again late Friday into early Saturday. A Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 9 p.m. Friday-5 p.m. Saturday. Anywhere from 1-4 inches possible, according to the National Weather Service. The period of most intense snow is expected between midnight and 6 a.m.
Snow is expected to wrap up Saturday afternoon. Sunday’s forecast is partly sunny with a high near 41.
