Light snow is continuing to fall throughout Butler County on Tuesday morning and it’s causing some problems on the roads.
A portion of Whitestown Road in Butler Township was closed (between Acre Avenue and Fairground Hill Road) around 9 a.m. due to reports of a vehicle stuck on Villa Drive. Roads in the area were slick and salt trucks were out. There was at least one disabled vehicle that slid off a road in the Highfield section of Butler Township.
There were accidents earlier this morning on Dick Road in Franklin Township; Glen Eden Road in Cranberry; West Eldorado Road (off Rt. 38) in Parker Township; and on South Oliver Avenue in Zelienople.
Forecasters say this morning’s snow is the result of the first of three potential clipper lows to impact our area through Friday.
