A local organization is holding the first of two child screening events scheduled for this month on Monday.
Lifesteps Child Check will take place at the Butler YMCA from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 14.
This free event is for kids from birth to 5 years old and should take about 30 minutes. The screening will look at how the kids play, talk, see, hear, move, and think. Results can be discussed immediately in an effort to address any problems as soon as possible.
A second screening will take place Sept. 28 at the Lifesteps Building. Please call 724-283-1010 ext. 318 for more information.
